Tenerife excursions.

The lush green northern hills of Teide Mountain and Las Canadas are a delight that few visitors discover. Almost anywhere off the beaten track, the country is coloured with lots of hibiscus, marigolds and carnations.

Quiet country paths are a feature of the island, and make a pleasant break for an interesting stroll while you can get to know Tenerife’s character and landscapes. You could spent a fortnight on the island and barely see another foreigner, taking more isolated trails to climb and explore the interior.

You can also find in Tenerife many beautifully located picnic places all over the island. There is 2,000 species of plants and flowers. Tenerife is free of troublesome insects and there are no poisonous snakes.

It is worth taking a boat across to La Gomera for more perfect peace. Despite its efforts to attract visitors, small La Gomera has escaped the onslaught of tourism. On this Island you can find many gorges, ‘barrancos’ and its central mountain region is thickly covered with Canary laurel forest, and on the costs you can sun and beautiful beaches.
