Most of the luxurious furniture is now to be seen in many Museums in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Worth visiting is Museo Municipal. It contains numerous collections of sculpture and ceramic art by Canarian artists and painters and also several Spanish and Dutch old masters including works by de Riviera, de Miranda and Jordaens.
Close to the Museum, in the same complex of buildings, you can find baroque Church of San Francisco. It was built in 1680. The church has excellent acoustics and you can often hear there organ concerts. Also you can admire 17th and 18th –century retable, the frescoes around the altar and several paintings from 18th century.
While you visit Santa Cruz de Tenerife you should find some time and see Plaza de la Candelaria, Calle Castillo, Casa Elder and Plaza de Weyler.
