 Post subject: Increase cholesterol level in blood |

I am a 25 year old working as a computer professional. I love to eat fast food. From last few days I am suffering from chest pain. When I visited to my doctor he told me to reduce my fat intake and to perform daily exercise. According to him cholesterol level in my blood increases considerably.
Could any one tell me what is this cholesterol? What is its relation with my fast food intake and less active lifestyle? Does it cause any harm to body? |

No, its perfectly ok to eat as much fast food as you like, and why bother with exercise?
To really get some great chest pains, eat as much maccy D as possible, drink over 10 pints a day along with a few class a's.... |

Seriously, cholesterol is bad for the body because it helps fur up the arteries and leads to strokes and heart problems. It comes from fatty foods but also from eggs, butter, prawns and many other foods. You can be tested for cholesterol levels. Fruit and veg are foods low in cholesterol. Exercise helps the body remove it and burn off calories!
