 Post subject: Maid Service / Towell Changes |

We visit Los Cristianos about twice per year and usually stay at Victoria Court II. The one thing that I would like more than anything for our upcoming visit in March is fresh daily towels and/or a daily maid service. Does anyone know of a company that provides this kind of service in the area and if so, the approximate cost?

Daily maid service is almost unheard of in self-catering, particularly daily towel changes. And just think of the poor environment! I've seen enough propaganda on TV to know that for every unnecessary towel washed in the world, another polar bear dies!
Seriously though, I would brace yourself for quite a high price, assuming you can find someone offering that service. Personally, I'd just buy a cheap mop/bucket and feather duster in the local supermarket and bring a fresh towel for each day of your stay, which even with the inevitably higher baggage charge will still work out cheaper than the maid. Hell, you can even whistle while you work, provided its not too early

it would probably be cheaper to buy a new towel each day and throw them away!
