im going in april 22nd
prob for 6 months - year maybe longer
ive half sorted out somewhere and ill be looking for 1 person to share wiv ... its a nice apt and it wil be 300 euro each per month

no im not sorted for work but im taking enough for 3 months ( money wise) in an account, so that way ive got time to find a job, get settled with out stressing etc.
Im going in february to the island to make a decision, but its prob going to be in parque santiago 2

my parents own a property there, and as theres is booked up ive managed find someone willing to let theirs BUT .... until i go there and sign stuff nothing is in concrete and they could book over my dates .. touch wood ! x

i was told by a friend that a complex called eldorado is nice, and cheap for a 1 bed apt .. but i was told that the hotel next door has hookers outside it .....

It is not BAD at all round there it is busy however great starting location to look for jobs etc, it is near the Hotel Apart HOtel Columbus and it is across the road from Oh La La's 24 hour cafe bar, it is also handy to do shopping near phillipes, and netto (expensive) with a spanish style just down stairs it also has a cheap internet cafe. ..... sorry full stops (!)
It is very central and I must say I found walking home to Las Tajinastes across the road from there at all hours from the Patch, Mary Rogans or the Strip to seem a lot safer than some of the places I have walked......
Any more questions feel free to ask..... most of your cheap central rentals can be found here.... saves on taxis I must say ! My friend Leanne has lived in the Altamar a 3 min walk from here near 5 * hotel Noelia Sur (on same road as El Dorado) for years and she thinks you can not beat5 the area for convienience.... also a bus stop right outside El Dorado too !!
