Yes what Elle said is so true ! Sometimes it is time to move away from people like that..... draining all your energy ! Some people are just all take and they will continue to do that. If they can not be mature enough to keep their issues to themselves and your 'friend' does not have the decency or maturity to tell the person that, those are their issues and they will have to put up with it, then she too isn't worth it ! Don't let them drain your time or energy anymore and move on !

Hi Claire

I have moved out here two weeks ago and all my true friends said they would miss me like mad but encouraged me fully and said if it is what i really wanted they would be there for me - and they all want to come out to see me for holiday. The true friends will be the ones who are still contacting you in a few years time.

It was all very tearful when i left but I know where they are if I need them and vice versa.

To be honest though Claire, at least you know what they are about now. It would be worse if they were sweet to your face about it, then slag you off behind your back and then in the summer, they'd all be trying to use you for a free holiday.

But chin up, you remember how friendly it is here. You'll make twice as many new friends out here after you arrive!
