 Post subject: NHS what a load of tosh tosh tosh !!! |

6 hrs after giving birth my niece was sent home with the baby who hadn't even had a bath or even a wash , all to save money and I'm sorry for going on as you will have read about this in the chit chat section but this is the RANTS .. So I feel like having one ...
I'll tell the NHS how they can save money .... 
When the " Eastern Europeans " come over claim everything they possibly can out of OUR TAX PAYERS MONEY and have THEIR babies in OUR ( what used to be ) clean NHS hospitals. They should be sent back to " Eastern Europe " To be dealt with there ... |

also you will find that some asian women will not go into hospital to give birth, Victoria was rang by her midwife 2 days after getting home to say they could not make it as they had 6 home births, so Victoria had to wait for her injection, then they did not arrive till 6pm the next night. they said they were not too worried about her as it was her third child,
Yes, she was fine the baby was fine, however, she had me, my mam, her dad, her hubby, of course the men dissapear when you talk about womensey things. what if she was a green behind the ears first time mum with no family to speak of.

| what a sad state of affairs. can't rely on the system, not even as a newborn! i´m a firm believer in self-care. 1st b/c there's too many of us for the health system to deal with. 2nd b/c health professionals are business people. 3rd b/c we should all know how our body works! most midwives are great but they should come by recomendation, i know several amazing midwives in tenerife if anyone needs one. |

I agree, I mean you only have to look at me.
I only smoke silk cut silver fags because they have the lowest nicotine, I have changed from drinking copious amounts of red wine to vodka because I can only drink vodka with fresh orange juice (that's healthy) and I have bought a bigger house on the outskirts of town so I have to walk further to my beer and ice cream fridge and also to the bar where have a my daily full English fry up

Victoria has had to stay in today as the health visitor was visiting to give Boudica her 9 month check, considering she is now 13 month

We have a friend who has started smoking menthol cigarettes, to help his asthma! lol.

Difference is.. Most english people in Tenerife pay their way and dont abuse the system!!

Sorry Lisa but I can't agree with you there. There are a few of us Brits who do support the system and pay our taxes but we are in a minority. Just take a look at all the posts from would be reefers who ask whether they get paid in cash! How many timeshare workers are there who are paid in cash?

Agree Rib although they have got tighter in Tenerife since I was there in 2004 it seems, I believe the police have been checking a lot of contracts for PR's etc.... the UK get slacker by the year......
