Yes, they may well "be there" and be useful when you need them frequently, as I have done, but I have been waiting for 7 months for an operation date for something that is quite serious as well as excruciatingly painful, and is affecting my everyday life by making me unable to do the simplest of things.
I dont appreciate being stuck on a waiting list behind however many polish, indian, etc etc people who have moved here and take over the healthcare system. Add onto that the sad wastes of space who do f**k all all day because they cant be a**ed, they have 20 kids hanging off their hip, thedrug addicts, chavs etc etc etc , need I go on.....and while they are smoking their 40 a day and glugging away on their beer, cider, wine, vodka, meths...... while they are getting their FREE healthcare to look after their wasted lungs, livers etc etc etc etc Im stuck bloody waiting list.

Oh and dont even get me started on the obese lot who spend their days living in mac donalds then sponge off hard working tax payers...No.
The NHS needs a lot of sorting out.

And I am backed up my my friend who is a nurse and feels the same.

Phew, that feels better now.

I went for a scan recently and when I was in the waiting room I would have been forgiven for thinking that I was in a different part of the world !?!? I was the only person in there of my nationality, apart from the lady on the desk.......was very sureal and there were posters every where saying only one child and adult to be with each patient!

Ahhh now we're in agreement. It's not the NHS per se that's wrong but all the abusers of the system that are overloading it. The NHS are forced to do as the government order them.

Yes some are abusers and expect everything on a plate and not try to help themselves, but as for the people of the "ethnic" minorioty, they demand services, if "we" as nationals complain or speak out we are classed as racist, and have to wait in line like good little Britians that we are

John was at the Docs yesterday for his check up with the nurse, he got here 20 mins early, so nurse seen him as her appointment for that time had not turned up, ( he is fine BP down, ) when he went back into reception with Nurse her appointment for that time was waiting arrived 10 mins late, he was ranting a raving asking for a complaints form, John said the nurse and receptionist were cow-towing to him as he was Asian, so John voiced rather loudly if he had been 10 mins late he would have got told off.

Nice one apollo . A person at work told me that 5 yrs ago her friend had a baby and , the same thing happened as with my niece . The baby popped out wasnt washed the mother fed it and then was sent home , only to find that when she undressed the baby ready to be bathed , the baby had no back passage , and all its organs were infected because of the faeces that was in the babies bowel . That was five years ago .

The baby or little girl as she is now is ok. But that wasnt the fault of the government Rob ... although they are to blame for many things .
