Hello All

Here is another one of claires random and pointless rants which may tickle you, seeing as im a 24 year old who feel the world is coming to an end over something so minor its not even worth the bother... So i begin

Ok I met a guy called Dean, lovely guy was a PR for tramps, made me smile , made me laugh, i know the deal with Tenerife workers etc .. buyt he was a bit different, he was a backpacker and was only in Tenerife for a month before a long trek to Santa Cruz

Anyways... we spoke for ages and ages after i came home last month and it was nice as he was saying the right things etc.. Little voice in the back of my head said he was a TFS worker so he probally was a player too !!! But i liked what i was hearing, he was even nice to my mum last month when she was over and said he couldnt wait to see me again and was going to extend his stay until i was over.. this made me smile ..... Until recently!!

It just all came to a full stop!!! No more messaging, no more anything.. I didnt mind this atall, end of the day i was not family or even a girlfriend so i just took it as maybe he had lost his phone or something... then i got an email saying that he had moved on but didnt want to say bye as its too hard !!

Now ... Im ranting because i think its rude what hes done but his choice... I hate goodbyes as much as the next person but .. i dont know.. hes really hacked me off !!

Ohhh never mind - I was looking forward to seeing Aidy more

Why does that make you sound like a hussy? I think you just sound like a normal girl who has fallen for a man's charms and there's nothing wrong with that. If he doesn't like goodbyes then you will have to accept that and move on. Don't worry too much (I know this bit may not be easy for you, especially if you fell for him big time) and enjoy yourself.

Wouldnt say i fell for him, he was a nice guy but one of the first bits of advice i recieved from this forum is DJ / entertainers / PRs on the island have a girl each night.. So i was cautious of dean alot for that reason. But i classed him as a friend. and his email was like a rushed 2 liner which upset me !!

Oh well there are more important things in life.. x

I would particularly not trust anyone who I'd met down in the Veronicas / Starco area.

Claire u are one of many beleive me girl . Bin there done that and will sell ya the book if ya want ha ha . its a learning curve , and i think the only reason he emailed you , was to keep you hanging on JUST INCASE he bumps into you again . But look at it this way you have to go through alot of loosers till you find MR RIGHT . Morph

I have decided that 25% of the people I have met are going to be the same way. So I just now expect those sorts of goodbyes and I don't get as upset as I used to. I never do that to others and would rather be honest with them. It makes me feel better about myself and I hope you are not feeling sad over it. Remember the 75% Very Happy
