Post subject: Review of the Marylanza Golf Resort & Spa Hotel |
|
|
Misinterpreted as to what the author of the Topic wanted....
Anyway here is my review of the hotel;
Resort Rating: Very Good
Accommodation Rating: Very Good
Our Holiday Opinion:
Had a fabulous holiday at Marylanza. We went All Inclusive. Booked through TravelRepublic and had no problems.
Pool - 3 pools, all brilliant, one heated.
Sunbeds - plenty of and very nice, no tacky plastic ones, looked lovely around pool and loads of parasols which made a change. Never struggled to get 2 together as pool complex is so big.
Pool bar - right in the middle of the 2 main pools so ideal for when lounging around outside.
Food - Fantastic, You could have 5 courses if you wanted to. Fresh food being prepared in front of you at meal times, always had basics for those not too adventurous (Debs). Had a few themed nights including Italian which was very good.
Note - All Inclusive food meals all you can eat at meal times. You cannot have snacks between unless you pay but this wasn't a problem as meal times were long and there was so much to eat.
Staff - fantastic all speak fluent English, however if you can try to speak a little Spanish to them they appreciate it?
Rooms - brilliant, spacious, clean, great quality. We had a one bedroom apartment with 2 adults. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, very powerful shower, patio/balcony (overlooking the Golf Course). Good sized kitchen (even though we we AI) with plenty of crockery etc for all.
Entertainment - Quite a wide variety starting from 21.30 each night from Ballet to Spanish Guitar, with a whole host of others thrown in the mix. Even have a kids section from 18.00 to give the parents a rest!
Location - perfect! 10 minutes walk in one direction was Playa de las America for those who want a lively holiday and 10 minutes walk in other direction was the quieter and much grander side to playa.
Los Christianos was further to walk and seemed further on the trek back but there was plenty to do without going round that far. No noise at all at night as hotel is out of centre but a pleasant stoll into resort.
Overall a fantastic holiday. We would go back tomorrow and reccommend to anyone, any age and what ever holiday you like.
Go and enjoy yourself - we certainly did!
Regards
