Hi there Oh Wise Bard. Do you loan that jumping spider out? The flies around here always seem to appear at meal times and when I'm joining the Spanish nation in a siesta.

I don't want non-residents to form the opinion that they are numerous on the island. There are fewer than in the UK but they are just more selective when they show themselves.

I think that I asked for that Rob. Still, it's no use giving it if you can't take it. Have a good weekend Sir.

I've not seen the spider since. I think it had such a huge meal it has gone off somewhere to digest it!

Love your Pics Bard, not as keen on these particular ones as some of your others but they are all good.

Thanks Ethan! Smile
Seems that not many people here like insects which is interesting in a way because I posted the same pics at a Goth bb I go to a lot and they all like spiders and bugs! Wink

Lol, the Moth is fine not so sure about the others esp the roach. I'm assuming the jumping spider can actually jump? If so how high can it jump?

Jumping spiders are usually small. They mostly live on walls and rocks and jump on insects they eat and to get away from danger such as people! There is a British one called the Zebra spider because it has black and white markings. They don't spin webs but have to actively hunt their prey.

Trust me the fact they are small will not overcome the fear of the thing jumping at you, in those poor people that are scared of Spiders, I told a friend yesterday that has a spider phobia about the existance of spiders that can jump and her eyes widened with fear, I tried to reasure her that they were small but it didn't seem to help Laughing

Mind you I think they have to admit it's much better than a giant jumping spider Shocked
