Friends have just returned from GdS and according to them the quoted price to the airport was €14.95 (they saw a tariff board on the Golf at one of the ranks somewhere they said) but when they got the airport the taxi driver asked them for............
wait for it.........
€12 and some odd centimos
And yes that was with a suitcase in the boot. He stopped at the airport and while they were gtting out of the taxi he went and got them a trolley as well.
Now you can't knock that can you? Goes to prove they're not all bad

I think that you're talking about from GDS to the airport? Different rates. Airport to anywhere is more expensive!!!!!!

Yes Rob, I'm talking from GdS to the airport and they say they saw a tariff board at a rank on GdS
Sorry, I know I missed out a word on my posting having re-read it But they said they saw a tarifff board at a taxi rank on GdS and they were charged less than it said.
I know the airport to anywhere is more expensive, but that's not what I was trying to say

| might try a shuttle resorthoppa are offering a transfer for £14.99 to Callao return.Has anyone tried them in Tenerife, I used them in Spain and they were fine |
