Which police force? Local, National or Guardia Civil?

I presume you speak Spanish? To join any force you have to take special exams, called Oposiciones.

Just read their General pre-requisites:

GENERALES:

(Consultar B.O.E. y publicación convocatorias.)

Según la legislación vigente Real Decreto 614/1995, de 21 de abril, publicado en el B.O.E. número 118, de 18 de mayo.

* Ser español. You need to be Spanish
* Tener 18 años de edad y no haber cumplido los 30.
* Estatura mínima de 1,65(**) metros los hombres y 1,60 las mujeres. (*)
* Compromiso de portar armas y, en su caso, llegar a utilizarlas.
* No haber sido condenado por delito doloso ni separado del servicio del Estado, de la Administración Autonómica, Local o institucional, ni hallarse inhabilitado para el ejercicio de funciones públicas.
* Permiso de conducir de la clase que se determine en la respectiva convocatoria.

The information is for my daughter, she can speak Spanish (studied upto A level)

Hi Dark Hero.

Unfortunately they won't take her directly unless she has Spanish Nationality. Lots of other professions have a scheme pursuant to the European Regulations governing free movement of workers, but Public Sector workers are excluded under Article 39 of the directive.

So if she wants to come and live here for 10 years and jump through the administrative hoops, she might just get a job as a policeman before she's too old to wave a truncheon
