The first bit sounded really nice, almost like a travel brochure. You're not trying to hawk out rooms in the quiet season, are you Trebs? Laughing Laughing You'll have to invite Bard over and he can catalogue all the plants and animals and give us a full report Wink

The biggest shock to me was to hear that you weren't that happy in Tenerife. It certainly didn't show on the few occasions that I met you. Having a purpose and focus in life is always the most important thing though. You're also right that there are many lifestyle distractions here in Tenerife and its easy to slip into the typical ex-pat way of life.

Anyway I'm so pleased to hear that you and Molly are doing well. Just make sure you don't forget about the rest of us stuck here on our dreary little island... Wink

Yes, England in the countryside on a warm spring/summer day takes some beating. However how many of those days are there? I still recall months of grey, overcast, cold, miserable days.

and rob yes it is still grey etc.. but on the bright side i didnt have to wash my car as the rains done it for me Smile

Couldn't agree more Rob, the grass is (or should I say appears) greener ....... Obviously there are a few things we miss about the UK but love our life here it is still the dream we wished for. I just need to speak more Spanish which I am working on.

I also did not realise that Trebs you were not as happy as I thought you were out here. Although I would defintely agree if you do not have discipline and a routine you can fall into the ex-pats things and way of life, which we have not done at all. We avoid all that if we can help it.

So pleased though Trebs that you and Molly are happy and doing well.
