It's my turn to announce the winners of the Forum Competition for July.
So it is my pleasure to announce the winner of the whale and dolphin boat trip vouchers, sponsored by Tenerife Ideas, is our new member Vision River - congratulations 
We do not yet have a winner for the champagne. If anyone has any nominations for the most informative post for July, please let us know.

Wow! Thank you, all.
The prize is quite meaningful to me. I won't tell a story, suffice to say that in our three years on Hawaii I was always looking for whales and dolphins. They mostly eluded me, and I narrowly missed a boat trip. So it is really great to have this to look forward to! |

Andy thinks my stories are strange, and I haven't even posted one of the strange ones yet!
The story of the dolphins and whales is, well, different. Beautiful, I think. But you will be the one to decide how you feel about it.

That's no problem. I know the stories are for a small percentage of the population. And I understand that this board is not made up of that percentage!
Kati has an expression from her German English - "we are on the same length of wave."
I can be on the same length of wave with people here about some things, and not about others. So if I share something I know is not on the same length of wave with the board in general, and there are negative responses, that is my responsibility.
Anyway, thanks for writing. I truly appreciate an honest response. |

Vision River - Margaretb who is out here on holiday at the moment has also won these tickets in previous months and will be using her prize whilst here. She will no doubt tell us all about it when she gets back. I also think Stripps has been.

stripps hasnt yet  ...dont have enough time lately...I also need to collect another set that I won...so I can then take my family with me...yay...
we are going to do it when the children come back from UK and my sister moves out...so we all get a nice day out before the normal day to day life sets back in lol...

Well done Vision, the trip is a wonderfull experience, this time it was a little dissapointing as the whales did not come in close to the boat, but as I posted earlier they had a very very small calf with them only days old so that could have been the reason.
