Hey Leanne can you remembr where you found that price!!??!! The lowest I'm coming back with is £250. Mind the accommodation is in the ideal location. DIY holidays just aren't working out _________________ facebook me - esmahan hassan |

Sky high summer prices and low low winter prices are here to stay I'm afraid. It makes absolutely no sense, but hey, who are we to stop the airlines from going bust?
Easy answer though everyone, just get a one-way flight here. Because lets face it, who really wants to leave anyway? _________________ Legal Solutions both in Tenerife and in England or Wales? Sounds great
I can only dream of that at the moment. I would love to get on a flight to Tenerife and not come back. It feels more like November here than August. My mum has lived in Tenerife for four years and was asked, don't you get bored with sunshine every day? She said "No, you must be joking"
Waking up to sunshine puts a smile on your face and spring in your step. I can't wait until the day I say goodbye to grey skies, drizzle and miserable faces. Also, not worrying about the heating bill, because, like my mum, I won't have one!

Absolutely agree lisa the sunshine, when it makes an appearance, does put a spring in your step and a smile on your face :O) it was lovely yesterday when i was in Cardiff but unlike Tenerife the heavens open at any given frequent moment - _________________ facebook me - esmahan hassan |

| I have that problem too Lisa pay more to fly locally or travel a long way to Gatwick to save a little. I generally pay more for the convenience. I think the other problem is lack of flights with the high landing charges at Stansted and the mergers between companies there is little choice. I did notice Easyjet from Gatwick were quite reasonable later on in the year if you didn't mind which day you went. |

We paid £320 each from Manchester which is localish for us. Were over for nearly 2 weeks it is self catering and doesn't include transfers but I didn't think that was to bad! I managed to do a DIY holiday because package ones were coming out ridicously expensive
All I can say is YAY YAY YAY ROLL ON OUR HOLIDAY
WHOOP WHOOP
Sorry tad excited to be getting a 'break'! x _________________ facebook me - esmahan hassan |

I was, a few months ago, contacted by an ITV research team who were putting a program together for the Tonight with Trevor McDonald show. The program was about the plight of the low cost airlines and was it related to the fact that fewer Brits were visiting the Canaries, once the UK´s favorite holiday destination.
I had an interview date set with the production crew. I was at the time planning to go back to Tenerife for Molls and my summer holiday. They were going to film me browsing the web for flights and comparing prices etc.
However, 2 days before I was meeting and filming with them, they called and said that they were dropping that angle of the program because their budget could not support the costs of getting 4 crew and equipment out to Tenerife. The price of flights were simply to high.
I ended up taking Molls away for a week in the UK because I could not justify paying the flight prices I was being quoted. _________________ Treble99

I paid £296 for all 4 of us one way.....but i do have to add that i booked them 6 months ago, the same flight 2 weeks ago when we got here was £694!!!!
I always manage to get really cheap flights to tenerife, might have something to do with the fact that i look on the internet for about 2 weeks before deciding! |
