Just a suggestion..... when having a crisis that results in gorging on a whole cream cake and a bag of chocolate. Why not have a treat on hold such as an aroma therapy massage or a spa treatment? You'll come away feeling good not guilty and won't have ruined a lot of work and effort, you'll perhaps have spent a little more but surely the result would be worth it? _________________ .

Shepards pie with a butternut squash or turnup/carrot topping lush
My favourite is steak grilled with onion, tomato, mushroom, with ginger, chilli, black pepper corn stir fry, ( soy sauce. not oil) is rather nice too!! _________________ Failures don't plan to fail, they fail to plan

Hi
Yes Rob, you are completely right. I do go off the rails now and again especially if i have had a very stressful time in work. I have just joined a gym and I do enjoy some me time in the jacuzzi and steam room. I have never thought of booking a massage I will maybe treat myself for a change. I have given other people vouchers but never would have thought of doing that for myself. I go for the quick fix, cream cake with the guilt and disgust afterwards.
I have two weeks in Tenerife coming up, got the tickets this morning, really looking forward to it. Just had a suasage sandwich, one a couple of sin. Two quorn sausages, 1/2 pt each, two slices wholemeal bread (healthy option), some ketchup. Lovely. Nothing to be guilty about. Margaret, the stirfry sounds good might try that this week

Quorn sausages are the best sausages!! I had them for breakfast this morning.. They are loverrrlyyy lol
Id advise anyone to go for a spa treatment as a treat.. Its a great way to relax and unwind.. Why not try a Facial? Theyre one of my fave things to get done ! _________________ Whooo Tenerife in May!! |

It is one place where people let themselves down, in America they have massages and other treatments like they would go to the dentist or doctors.... it makes a huge difference, I need to book one for me as I have not got round to it for ages, although my friend did give me a lovely Reiki Treatment last week. When in Tenerife my not give our Jude a call, she lives in Silencio and I hear does a great massage! Her name is Judith Kennedy and Jude on here her husband is Sam K.
Enjoy your holiday !

Well done, now all you have to do is to keep it off.
I've just finished my detox. After 5 1/2 days with no food at all I was allowed one apple for breakfast, it took me half an hour to eat it! I had been soooo looking forward to eating again yet the apple was a big disappointment. Salad for lunch, then a light dinner tonight.
I lost a stone in a week! _________________ .

Well done Margaret
it must feel so good.
Rob, 5 days without food, your stomach must be the size of an egg cup. Very impressive, do you feel better for it?

Sounds painful, everyone I have met with kidney stones have been in a lot of pain especially when they are on the move, ouch.
(Note to self, drink more water.)
At least you will be nice and trim before the Christmas parties. Might try a bit of a detox myself before I come out to Tenerife. The tins of Christmas sweets have already started to appear in work and I have avoided them quite well so far but I did a 24 hour shift yesterday and couldn't resist a couple. Start of the slippery slope, it will be mince pies and cake next. I must get some willpower.

Well done Margaret
You need to plan your Christmas so you don't put any weight back on.
Good Luck, I am sure the family will help (no chocolates for presents this year) lol _________________ Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional. |
