Well thought I found a good deal for a holiday to tenerife in dec . but found out today my floippin egsurst has gone and need to get a new one so the good deal is off , glad I didnt book anything

Sonja things like that normally happen to me ....plan something and just before you finalise it bang, kids, pets, car, so it is a hole in your hol money or you just don't book

And to top it all my 78 yr old mum lost her purse today ( with hundred and odd pound in it ) between the town centre and bingo . I tried to get hold of my dad who was picking her up from bingo to tell him that she had lost her purse and gone home . He wasn't answering his mobile cause hes a bit deaf and cant hear it ring so I text a message and left messages on the answer phone .

Already fallen out with my mum cause trying to help and it just going over her head .


Anyway dad phoned to ask me what had happened cause mum was telling him something different , so when I tried to explain , all he was bothered about was how he felt waiting for mum .... Derr check ya phone . Now he wont speak to me or my husband EH...! What's going on . I have 2 older brothers and 1 older sister who do nothing for them leaving it all up to me , and this is what I get .

Oh dear....... remember they are getting on AND you always hurt the ones you love, I bet your brothers and sister are the best thing since sliced bread!

It is hard, my mam is 72 and I give her my opinion (which she asks for) or advice and she goes in the compleatly different direction......PARENTS!!!!

thanx guys it comes to us all I suppose . my sister in-law phoned me and heard how upset i was and said she had no idea i told her that the other 3 wouldnt get spoken to like they do to me 4 yrs and im 40 and they treat me like im 10 cause im the youngest . But ur right margaret bout giving advise , when I do cause they've asked they take no notice cause im the baby wat do i no . But its the other 3 that ask my advise on my parents .

Anyway my sister in-law said ive to have a break and she will take mum out on saturday . But you can be sure they wont phone me to see where I am arghh .

At least your sister in law has picked it up, lets hope it is more than just 1 Saturday by the way turn your phone off.

mum has phoned my sister in-law and told her she doesn't want her to go down . So she will be sat in all day im affraid cause im going out with my husband .

We are both only ones, with widowed mothers, both are 84 years old.

So I know what it's like to try to talk sense. "impossible"
