This actually happened today.
I was next in line at the bank and overheard the conversation in front of me between a lady and the cashier.
She wanted to know why, using her English Natwest bank card, the machine had given her Euros and not Pounds as she needed some money to go home with !!!!
I nearly fell over.

And why not? Are you telling me that if I use my American express card I won't get dollars pretty damn quickly? A bit like the English tourist trying to use English coins in a phone box because she was ringing England!

That is a joke isn't it Rob, I do hope you're not saying this is something you've actually seen.
