hi Jenny, thanks for the welcome. unfortunatly do not speak spanish is that a major problem for gaining work over there, i have had a varied working life from running bars in uk holiday camps to spending the last 5 years working for IBM in there tax/accounts department, have a good knowledge of pc skills and am part qualified accounting technician (general admin and accounts). can turn my hand to most home maintenance task from tiling to painitng and decorating, have a NIE number already and tenerife bank account, have my own accomodation over there as well. If you or any other reading this know of anything drop me a line, will be coming over in Feb.
Cheers

Tony. There are jobs out here for people who don't speak Spanish, although I highly recommend you learn some as it will help you in a lot of things, not just work-wise. I have no doubt that you will find a job with that long list of experience.
Can I suggest though that you post all that info on the Jobs/Working in Tenerife section as you're more likely to be found there by potential emplyers. There are also job offers in that section, that I presume you have already looked at. |
