we are looking to move to tenerife for aprox 18 months to 2 years and looking for a 1 bed apartment around torviscas porta colon, las mimosas or anywhere not terribly far fro sea but not near veronicas. we plan to go around sept october, if we can get a price we can afford[/b]

Hello and welcome to the forum.
In the areas you are thinking about you would probably be looking for about 600€ + a month as it is one of the expensive areas as it is very touristy.......
You may be able to find a cheaper one, but close to beach pays higher.
In areas outside these then you can rent for less, about 450€ upwards.
Have a search on accomadation there maybe some posts that will help, also like undercover said Rob is helpful in this area.
