They could do but they don't have a proper restaurant and it's more a case of people bringing food and drink there, also for people travelling by bus it's not easy and involves a quite lengthy uphill walk. For drivers directions would be needed seeing as Mazar Ribah isn't in the main part of the village but up a side road. I am sure Emily and Fernando would love to have some people come up and see them though.
The idea for Italia in Bocca is it is a proper restaurant and bar, is easy to get to, is fine for kids and there's the beach just over the wall and steps down to it. I'll post some pics later when I have a chance. |

If Italia in Bocca is the one with all the tables and chairs outside (under cover) right on the beach promenade, then I second that option.
One reason- I already know where it is. Also, I'll most likely be cycling there and I'll be able to leave my bike outside. Third & most important reason: they make good food! _________________ Life from an outsider’s perspective… |

Yes, that's the one! I take a bundle of the Tenerife Sun there every issue, I take friends there, I have done an interview there for a story about me in Tenerife News, and I go there if I feel like having a meal and a drink and to watch the sun go down!
Yes, the food is great with large portions, good service and cheap prices. |

Perfect.
All we need is to set a date.
I can't make it certain days (14th, 19-22nd & 26th for example) & certain times this month when I have my spanish driving lessons. Next month I should be freed up a lot more. _________________ Life from an outsider’s perspective… |

How about Friday or Saturday 9 or 10 November?
There's a 460 at 13.55 from Las Americas bus station to Icod and it takes about 90 minutes for the journey, which goes through the mountains by Santiago del Teide and passes through Erjos, Ruigomez and El Tanque before coming downhill into Icod. It's an excellent journey.
There is a 362 from Icod to San Marcos on the half hour but if you miss it its about 3 km walk downhill or a taxi from outside the bus station.
Last bus back from Icod to Las Americas goes at 20:10.
How about 4-5pm meet at Italia in Bocca? That leaves time for people to get away if coming by bus. |

| Also from the restaurant it is easy to see when the bus for Icod comes in - its just at the top of the walk down to it. |
