From Icod follow the sign to San Marcos on the road going out towards El Tanque and/or Buenavista. There is a roundabout with Icod one way and a choice of El Tanque, Garachico and Buenavista or San Marcos. Go all the way downhill to the San Marcos beach by not taking any turnings off the only road into here and then Italia in Bocca is down the seafront pathway (Avenida maritima) on the left of the bus stop behind the telephone box and directly opposite the chemist and a bar. There are only two bar restaurants along this section and it is the first.
La Laguna is a long way from here though and over an hour on the bus. |

You will miss some wonderful views if you do but I can understand!
Just make sure you go don't overshoot Icod - perhaps the best way is into Icod and through it on the main road going in the opposite direction to Puerto? |

I hope you all have a great time but also will not be able to attend as Xoaquin has been invited to two birthday parties tomorrow afternoon (that's three in one weekend as he has one this afternoon too!)
