Hi guys and gals Just started viewing the forums. Been to Tenerife 3 times over the past year and Im looking at buying a place on Amarilla Golf in the Pinehurst block, Anyone want to put me off or tell me Im doing the wrong thing?
It just seems a bit "out the way" and am worried I might not be able to let it out when Im not hogging the place for myself
Regards to all

I once gave a plug for the Pinehurst complex in my column in Living Tenerife but that was for their creative gardening of growing a bougainvillea in a disconnected British telephone box!
I would say it is a bit out of the way, yes, but you might be lucky if you found either someone into golf and the area or someone working down that way. I have often seen jobs going in the golf area. _________________ Find out more about me here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=10 |

Hi UKHGUY
well now it is a strange thing ..............i live in Amarilla golf and i find it lovely. There is a new road being built and when finished will be really nice.
Pinehurst is ok it has a nice pool which is well maintained and a small bar which is nice and cheap. Most of the residents are ok but you stil have the odd one or two but that is expected where ever.
It is far out from Los Cristianos and Las Americas but does have a good bus service. It is near to Golf del Sur and San Blas which are both very nice.
As for renting there are quite a few people that come out for long stays and a few holiday makers but it is reasonably quiet.
If y ou need any other info on Amarilla or Pinehurts then feel free to email me mary@tenerifehennights.com _________________ Find out more at www.myspacetenerife.com

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice. I did view an apartment whilst I was there a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with it, the gardens and the pool and the views were staggering.
Will probably go ahead very soon

Hi UKGUY and welcome from me too
I'll just add to what everyone else has said that, it is also near Las Chafiras, an industrial area where many people work, thus a long-term let in Amarilla Golf may be good for that too. |
