Ok I live in Las Rosas (near Silencio), I work in the fabulous Estate agent world! have done for emmm ufff too long

I came out here at the young age of 11 as my parents moved here to open up a business, the rest of my family still live at home (Scotland) I studied in Las Galletas...yes I jumped in at the deep end....and it was very hard the first year....but paid of in the end....went on to work for my parents then into estate/gestoria work.....

Excellent............two of my children are in a spanish school in los abrigos and my 3rd starts in september. Its nice to hear that it pays off for non speaking spanish.

I live in Amarilla golf so not far either.........i must also say that we are very very nosey....especially Jenny and myself

Can I also congratulate you for speaking Spanish. It is a rare commodity among the ex-pat community over here and you deserve a pat on the back.

i speak a little............well quite a bit......definately more than when i came here.....i am learning very fast....

My children are very good because of the school...

Ta Jenny...although I dont think I would speak it as well if i hadn’t studied in a Spanish school.... I wish more ex-pat would put there kids into Spanish School....its hard at first but the benefit is just so greater....

So for the people who have learnt Spanish through lesions or just by will power really deserve a pat on the back....

My estate agents already does advertise with you.....and we might leave it there as i really should be working!!!!!

i am very happily married and so i am not really wanting a man............just sort of window shop every now and then ...........you have to keep these men on their toes.....

now then, now then, it's welcome from me too. hello 'estate' - sorry for curtailing your tag. i do speak and write a little spanish. i'm self-taught as i have little time in my schedule at the moment to embrace attendance based learning. it's a little difficult at times because i have no benchmark against which to appraise my skill level. having said that, i felt sufficiently confident to speak spanish most of the time during my first visit to tenerife, back in november '05, after 2 months of self-learning.
