Yeah, sunny... he isn't a roofer by any chance? I'm sick of the Mañana syndrome too when it comes to builders...!

I need a quote doing for my roof, so if he knows anything about sealing flat roofs, send me a PM because I need mine doing! Preferably before it starts raining again...

been lookiing all over the place for property, not quite sure yet. but this week has been enough to convince me that its time to make the jump! should be all sorted by the end of this year, then i´ll be over here to sort out all this dodgy electrical work!

Hi all

Sorry Kirstyjay, although he did roof's etc in England is not doing them here. Mainly he does fitted wardrobes, installing of lights and fans, kitchen units, cupboards, tiling, painting and decorating and plumbing and general maintenance.

Hope you get your roof sorted.

I moved over here first week of Dec 2004 and have no intention of ever living anywhere else! I have done just over a year down south and now up in the north which I prefer!

after spending last week in tenerife doing some research, and then returning back to UK its full steam ahead now! sell house, save money, bit more planning etc, and hope to be out there by the early part of next year. tenerife is a great place and can't wait to set myself up there. room for one more i hope!!

Hi dutchy.
Ive been here for 4 months now and im loving it.
I just live the quiet life here.
Go to work 5 days a week and just lounge about the other 2.
Still got to learn spanish , but that will be manana.
Still need to get used to the heat too.
Living here in los cris up the top of the hill ive got the best view and im loving it.
Hope you get settled and do well here m8.

thanks everyone. really looking forward to getting over there, just wish there wasn't so much to deal with over here first!! gonna keep up with things on here for the the six months, it acts as good encouragement, and helps me keep my eye on the ball.
