Post subject: Christmas in Tenerife |
|
|
Having been to Tenerife quite a few trimes we thought it would be good at Christmas. Only problem is where to eat.
Can anyone reccomend somewhere in the Las Americas / Adeje area for Christmas day. Maybe different to your normal Turkey and bits.
From what I have seen Christmas eve is big time as well so wheres good then
Thanks |

Hi, and welcome, you don't say what sort of food you like so it's very difficult to recommend somewhere. _________________ .

| We are very flexible about types of food. Chinese/Indian doesn't really seem appropriate. Some good Spanish/Canarian Restaurants would be good. |

How about making a list of all your 'wants' and 'don't wants' plus a budget for each meal? That would make life a lot easier for us.

Also if you do a search there are loads of restaurants that form memebrs have recommended for other people.
This year we are staying here, last year we went back to UK, but I will cooking the christmas dinner. My family are out for New Years and Reyes so we will be eating out a bit then.
I do like the chines places aswell as mexicans and a few others.
My advise...like robs would be list types of food then we can advise..also it would be better to reserve a t able at your required venue...just to be safe _________________ Find out more at www.myspacetenerife.com

If there are any open a Canarian or similar sort of restaurant would be ideal. As far as budget is concerned, as long as it is not to expensive !!!!!.
The main thing would be the atmosphere of the place, and if it is not to far from where we are staying - Paradise Club in Torviscas Alto would be good.
I also understand Christmas Eve is as big, if not bigger than Christmas. I suppose We would have to book somewhere for then as well?
Do places shut up early on Christmas Eve? |

New year is a big night, though I have not really heard of many places charging entrance, as they do in England, so you should be OK. It depends what you want to do, I suppose... are you after an evening clubbing, or do you fancy something a bit more subdued? _________________ Buy & Sell your stuff online FREE - www.canarianexchange.com - eBay for the Canaries |

| Clubbing is not an option although some music would be OK, Maybe a good restaurant wher you can have a good time and a laugh without breaking the bank |

It still very difficult to recommend anything for you your requests are still very open.....price.....

How much is too expensive? 100 euros a head? 200? 25?
Molino Blanco is very good, you can have a violinist serenade your lady, they have music. On new years eve last year it was 150 Euros a head. _________________ .

Hi Tash,
Welcome to the forum. The busiest two weeks of the year in Tenerife are the two that cover Christmas and New Year. That should answer your question. _________________ .

have a search around the forum....look at the reviews people have left. Then when you have chosen your place..I would suggest that you find the numbers for it and call and make a reservation. They may be rather busy ..especially if they are good...and you may end up hungry...
Research and book.. _________________ Find out more at www.myspacetenerife.com
