The Palm-mar is a new development area, between Costa del Silencio and Los Crisitanos. By car is approximately 5-10 minutes of Los Crisitanos.
This area is nice and are interesting plans for the near future.

Hi Clarena, thanks for contacting me about the apartment for my parents, i think they are really looking for Los Cristianos but they might consider it, they have never been to palm mar so i am going to take them down for a look around, how much is the monthly rent as this is quite important as they are pensioners, also how long would you give a contract for? Let me just wish you a happy new year for you and your family & friends.

Regarding the apartment I understand that your parents prefer “Los Cristianos” but you should have a look to Palm-mar because they might find it interesting.
It is a quiet new residential area and not a loud tourist one.

About the monthly fee we are asking 580 euros, but depending on how long your parents would like to stay we can negotiate it. We can go for a six months contract or directly to a yearly one. We don’t rent the apartment for weeks or for short periods.

If they became our tenants we would try to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Hi guys, little old me again, Clarenas apt in palm mar is actually in Laderas de palm mar, its lovely i considered renting it for my mum and dad but i think it might lose its view when "fuente" is built and as my dad has brain damage and sometimes can't get out this isn't good for them. We have opted to rent one of the two bedroom penthouses on the end of the complex where its impossible to lose the view. However, for anyone wanting a gorgeous apt for 580 a month with english tv to boot its a steal. She has pic's if you e-mail her for a link and seems a really nice person from my correspondence with her over the last few weeks, but as stated in the topic the bus service is "pants" in fact none existant the bus stops at the bottom end of guaza at the roundabout so you really do need a car....... but i am reliably informed that the residents of P-M have a system that they all pick up hitchhikers or people walking along the road towards guaza or vice versa, seems a great community spirit down there and i cant wait to get there on the 18th.

We live in Palm-Mar and love it, our new apartment was due to be ready in July 2005, we did not in fact move in until January 2006. So builders dates can be a bit confusing.

I think I have said before a car is essential, but then to be honest think a car is essential wherever you live out here.

Don't worry Clarena, Funky is just being cynical and you are not planning to rent it out to holidaymakers anyway. At least in Palm Mar you are more likely to get a tennant who is quiet and will look after your apartment.

Desde alli podra disfrutar de las excelentes vistas del puerto de Los Cristianos y el Teide en todo su esplendor.

Para los entusiastas y fanaticos del golf, Golf Los Palos esta a tan solo 2-3 minutos en coche del apartamento. Amarilla Golf, Golf del Sur, Golf las Americas y Costa de Adeje Golf, al igual que deportes y actividades acuaticas, hipica, jardines y zoologicos, pueblos pesqueros, excursiones, etc etc etc a tan solo 10-15 minutos en coche.
