Ezzy, Ezzy. Sit back for a few moments, breathe deeply and relax. It will all be okay. Keep looking and something will turn up. I'm completely sure about this. Planning the holiday should be as enjoyable as the experience, itself.
Hopefully, someone within this forum will be able to offer an opportunity for you. Keep us posted.
Got to go now. I have train to catch. See you later ...... |

Sorry but they are correct, would you want to keep your house empty and earning no money, for 4 months on the promise that someone wants to rent it for 6 months or so starting in May? Thousands of others have done it before you so relax. take our advice and book a package holiday for two weeks and then start looking. It works, we've seen it happen many times. Instead of wasting your time and patience on trying to find accommodation use the time to learn Spanish. _________________ .

Ezzy... please don’t do that as it could back fire on you, by turning up here and the agency not knowing anything or not being there....take Robs good advice and come more relax on a package deal for 2 week giving you time to sort our accommodation once your here, if your like most of us you will be looking at a good few moves around before you find where you like and want to be...
Remember there are a lot of people that will take your money and if I have seen you I cant remember! (thats a Spanish saying, si te he visto no me acuerdo, might not translate to good) all I am saying is be careful with whom you trust please. |

Another way but a little more expensive is to come for a weeks package holiday 2-3 weeks before and find a property then. Most landlords would be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks although not all.
That is what we did and it worked fine.We booked the week then arranged all the appointments with agaents for viewings for the first 2-3 days. We actually opted for the 3rd one we viewed. We sorted the contract there and then and applied for our NIE's so they were there waiting when we moved out. We also opened a bank account so we had the details to transfer our money out before we came.
We brought loads of stuff with us and were able to leave it behind at a friends so in effect, although it meant an extra flight, we were able to bring double with us. It also meant when we did finally move out here it was straight into our apartment.
The advice given by Rob and others is spot on. I am just giving another alternative for those who want to start out straightaway in theie own place and can afford the time to come over on an extra visit beforehand.
I agree with the others - chill - it will all work out fine. |

Do you mean stop being so blunt Rob and be gentle with me?
Sorry Ezzy, as usual I'm in a rush to get things done so don't stop and think about being diplomatic. _________________ .

I don´t think the bus route is excellent for Palm Mar they leave every 20mins but as far as I know they pick up and drop you off at the main road which means a long walk down to the coast of Palm Mar where most of the complexes are, fine if you have a car as shops are limited in Palm Mar. You could check the bus routes at http://www.titsa.com _________________ Caty |

La Fuente del Palm-Mar is still under construction due to be completed this year summer and we all know builders here tend to go over the due date, have a look at www.palm-mar.com
I am totally a fan of Palm-mar if I could afford a house there I would live there no problem its very residential and doesn’t have many shops but that’s what I like about it, you would need a car though.
Click on the map and see the location of La Fuente (X marks spot), it as nice see views but no so near the sea.
