Post subject: Questions on schools |
|
|
Hello My Partner and I have just come back from tenerife to this dismal country, whilst there we had quite a lot of dealings with the private hospital system as my partners brother was taken seriously ill, we met someone from the lions club who was really helpful and contacted the people for us who could help.
Anyway that is by the by my partner and I have decided we would like to take a year out on this lovely island (we have been thinking about this for a long time just needed to find the right place) and I have a 10 year old daughter of whom I would like to go to a spanish school, she has very little spanish but we are talking about putting her into lessons here before we come, obviously I am worried how she would settle at her age, we are looking at the Los Gigantes/Puerto Santiago/Playa del Arena area, can you give me a spanish school in these areas, I have looked at the schools on your lists but don't know where abouts they are in comparison to where i am looking...
Help and advice would be greatly appreciated.... |

There is lots of information on here about schools..spanish and english...
If you are only going tobe here for a year....I am not sure that it would be beneficial to put your daughter into spanish education.
I have 3 children one who is nearly 10.....It takes a while for them to get settledin and get the hang on spanosh...they will learn very quickly...but if you are only here short term then english school may be easier. She will then not loose anything when you return to UK.
If you intened to be here longer and make it permenant then I would say spanish would be the way to go.
Do a search on here for the schools ...there loads of info...it may help you with your decision....especially the paperwork...lol
I am more than happy to help with anything you n eed....

Hi Spenny1 and welcome to our Tenerife forum, if you want to find places use googlemaps.co.uk you can zoom in to see villages, streets even individual houses, switch between standard and hybrid. _________________ .
