Hi all you Tenerife clubbing/pubbing officianados - where would you recommend for two over fifties Saga Louts - we love live music especially from the 50s 60s and 70s.
We bet there's somewhere in Tenerife that's right up our street - we just need to hear from you guys where we can find our ideal entertainment venue.
We're in Tenerife next week so will put your recommendations to the test.

Not sure about that one but it reminded me of a recent Funny. My Mother is 68 going on 28 but is getting a bit hard of hearing. She recently went for a fitting for hearing aids. She asked the guy who was doing the fitting if it was OK to wear them in Night clubs and discos. He just laughed and said he had never been asked that before.

I hear that the decades show would probably suit you, they do a package of meal and music. The music starts with 60's stuff and works up to modern sounds, if you don't like the newest stuff....no problem....you'll probably be ready for your beds by then.

I've never been but I'm told that it's a good night and value for money.

Dave and Alli as you are staying on the Golf Del Sur, there is one bar in the San Blas complex that has speakers pumping out 60's tunes.

Not sure how late it goes on or if there is any dancing but I would have a look. As you face San Blas from the front it is off the main square and up to the left.

Everytime I pass in the day they are always playing, Elvis, Billy Fury, The Big O, Everlys, Beatles etc etc .......

Worth a drink.

I've just been out to get the info and found out that Decades is closed for refurb. There is a Motown show in Las Americas that might suit, 40E per head with a meal or 30 without. Drifters, James Brown, Temptations, Four tops, Diana Ross, plus more.

Cheers to both Karl and Rob for your help and advice - perhaps we'll give them both a go next week and let you guys know how we get on.
In terms of loud music Dave was at the Isle Of Wight pop festival in 1968 with the legendary Move and T-Rex blasting it out - he was stone deaf for about a decade afterwards!!!
Still it was worth it
