Um holiday... let me see I did have one once but....
I need one but can't take one at the moment, too much work to do. For many years I didn't leave the island but have been to S Africa, Holland, Switzerland, Panama, The Philippines and mainland Spain. |

...so you're quite well travelled then eh? which place did you like best??
..i must admit, although i'd like to visit relatives in canada at some point, and other than having a strong urge to test out Dubai ( my brother lives there) i always stick to the canaries or mainland spain. One good reason...i can speak quite a lot of the lingo and i like to try and be able to converse with "the locals" so to speak, even if i do get embarrassed when i make mistakes....IN years to come, i'd like to make tenerife my home, or if not, somewhere up in the Alpuharras ( i think thats the right spelling, maybe not but you get the drift!) mountains on mainland Spain...
Then again...i hear Filey is up and coming...  |
