Hi Sarah and welcome to our forum.
When you mean costs I suppose you mean to have a baby privately? I had my son on the social which is free but I am not sure of the price if you want to pay privately (although I did have some private gyneocology appointments which were about 50€ each time). I also looked into having a water birth at home and it worked out about 1000€. If you already have private medical insurance then it may be included in that but if you don't already have it then a new policy does not usually cover you if you are already pregnant.
Maybe someone else on here knows more. I take it your parents live here? If so they might know.
Regarding citizenship, if you are British then your child will be British, although you must still register the birth at the Registro Civil within about 10 days of the birth. _________________ Who am I? Find out more here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=17
I will make this day a happy one for I alone can determine what kind of day it will be. |
