hi, i work as a technical manager for a national housebuilder delaing with engineering and architectural matters.
it is doubtful i will get a job doing the same but i will try, that part of the action plan seems to be going in the direction of getting out there, doing anything as a job whilst continuing to get a better job. this is probably one of the main points that i have got to investigate in more detail.
my action plan is coming along, there is a wealth of experience and information on this and other forums and it takes time asimilating it. 
are you looking to do the same?

We had planned to do 6 months over winter past with me flying back and fore but due to a family bereavement our plans have changed.
I am fortunate that I have a business in the UK with good staff which means I can be away when I want and also do not have to find work when I am in Tenerife.( I say that but it does not stop me ringing in and checking my emails everyday!)
We are now looking at a 3 year plan to get us out there permanently but will do quite a few long stays beteen now and then.
There are loads of things to consider but this is the best place to get all the info

Good advice Angimac thats exactly what we did our action plan took at least three years, what with semi retiring in the UK first and coming backwards and forwards to Tenerife, to see if we would like it
We are semi retired here too and absolutely love it. Although to be honest we do not have a mortgage etc which a lot of younger people may have, which makes finding work essential for them.  |
