Well . . . . just to make you Tenerife Sun Snobs totally jealous . . . it was grey skies, cold winds, torrential rain, thunder and lightning yesterday at 2.00pm in Essex . . . . but then by 2.30pm it had changed to grey skies, cold wind, thunder and lightning and. . . . . . a hail storm Ha! Ha!

Our son-in-law is from Ghana and his cousin is over in UK for the first time and all he's done over the past week is look out of the window at the weather with this disbelieving, bemused expression on his face.
God only knows what he'll make of the Eurovision Song Contest!!!!!

Well, I don't mind the current weather pattern. It's doing wonders for my lawn (richly and verdant) and floral borders (awash with tumbling watercolours). Don't fear; it'll pass in a little while and deliver radiant sunshine and clear skies. Then you'll be able to indulge warm days, sultry evenings, champange, strawberries and luuurv!! Laughing

Sorry, I've been neglecting my forum duties yet again. Hi Jama, yes I'm ok, well apart from a few minor problems, which I'm sure I'll rant about on the forum shortly.

So anyway Jama, enough about me? How are you? We've still never met, and I understand from the historical posts that you are a bit of a Tenerife recluse lately. So when can we expect a surprise knock at the door? Hell, you can even bring your Big Book of Innuendos with you... Its all good

Hi Funky, yes, you're right... I do need to 'get my act together' and make another visit to Tenerife. I've just been so busy recently.. looking for property in Spain. Fortunately, I'm now in Jamaica for a couple of weeks, then I fly out to Gran Canaria, for a week. Like Spain, that'll be focussed at looking at some properties.

I've been actually thinking about the possibility of visiting Tenerife durung the Christmas. We'll see.... Very Happy
