Has anyone had their furniture shipped over just recently?
We are expecting to receive ours in about 3-4 weeks and have been told that to clear customs we will need copies of our NIE's which is not a problem but we also need a cert of domicile and our NIE's registering at the local Hacienda.
Does anyone know if this is the case as when i mentioned it in the town hall she looked at me daft!
Also where is the nearest tax office, have i seen one in Adeje or is eveywhere i am walking at the mo turning into one big blur!!! |

Certificado de domicillio is simple, just take your passports, NIEs, and rental contract/escritura to the ayuntamiento (town hall) and ask to empadronar yourselves. Your shipping agent will be able to tell you what is needed, I'm not up to date.

Rob is spot on and that is what we needed to clear our personal effects through customs.

If you need a NIF (Fiscal ID number) then there is a tax office between the Green Hospital (Hospiten) and the Zentral Centre on the road behind the Guardia Civil and Hotel Noelia.

Never mind Jenny we found it today whilst job hunting but guess what............
We didnt take anything with us cos we weren.t going to do it today so have to take another trip down again
