Hello everyone I moved here a month ago and love it here. I´m living in the North in La Laguna with my boyfriend. Got my social security No and My NIE just last week, so if anyone needs help on what u need etc just let me know and will do my best to help Very Happy

I had temporary work teaching dance but looking once again, does anyone know of any dancing jobs in the north? I know there´s a lot of work in the south, but I really like the North and travelling for an hour to south and back every day is just a wee bit too much for me!!

Also does anyone know a good school in La Laguna to learn Spanish? I´ve been studying at home every day with my wee book and cds I bought in the UK but now its gettin a wee bit difficult and would be much better with a teacher methinks!! My boyfriend is Spanish and because we met in Scotland we were always speaking in English and now he finds it impossible to speak in Spanish with me (sooooooo frustrating Shocked

) I speak in Spanish with him as much as possible, but sometimes its like talking to a wall!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband has a similar problem to yours. We always speak Spanish and he wants to learn more English but I can't change and talk English to him now. Our son is more patient than I am!!

Three of their staff are pregnant (I think one of the girls has already had her baby) so they may need some temporary staff at least. And if not, they are in that field and may know of other places.

Hi weeshorty
Just saw dance so had to have a nosy
I taught Ballroom & Latin for too many years in Lancashire,
now have an apartment in Tenerife Sur but have never thought about dancing while there, don't even know if there are any classes..
If anyone knows of classes please let me know as I do anjoy and it's a good form of excercise and a way of meeting people socially
Also love line dancing to latin/funk but let me forget country and western too weary
