Post subject: NVQ Care workers |
Hi all
We are new to this site and hoping to move to Tenerife within the next few months with our children. My husband has just qualified in NVQ care, for elderly, physically handicapped and people with learning difficulties. He is a responsible, mature caring man who changed his career in his late 40's. Does anybody know if there are career oppourtunities in this field in Tenerife. Any information would be gratefully recieved. _________________ We are hoping to move to Tenerife within the next few months, subject to sale of house which has just been re-tarted Ann Maurice style so fingers crossed. We tried 2/3 years ago but Golf War scuppered our plans. |

Post subject: Pets to Tenerife |
Hi Milly, I can ony help you with the pets part of your message. I relocated to South Tenerife two months ago with my two cats. You just need to get together a pet passport for each pet, your vet will have all the necessary details. 24-36 hours before you travel with them you need to visit the vet to get an all clear on their health, the vet will then stamp the passport.
I came out from Gatwick with BA, if you ring them, telephone number is on their website, they are very helpful and will advise you what you have to do. You pay approx £11 per kilo of animal and animal transporter. You book in with your pet at the same time same time and you book yourself in. I also had a quote from Monarch from Gatwick, their charge ws three times that of BA! and you had to leave the animals in the north terminal cargo centre three hours before you travel.
Hope this helps a little, if I can help further plese contact me.
