so as few of you know i started new job bout 3 and half weeks ago , but i m working night so do have to get taxi back home , but i m now thinking bout saving up and getting a moped because i feel be worth it in the long run to have my own transport .
So reason why writing this topic is to one find out if theres a way to do the test in English out here because my Spanish isn't fluent its just alright , where abouts do you go about to do the test or course etc , wheres the best places to go to buy moped round south area really .
Any websites that could check out as well for more info or to see prices etc .
See ideal world i want to get everything together then in few months time buy one , but want all the paper work sorted out before etc .
Any useful info is most greatly received thank you.
P.S will be looking into this in town as well , but just looking for any extra help really thanks |

There is a place in Las Rosas (near Silencio) to buy motorbikes and mopeds. There used to be one in PdlA too, near Bungamerica, just before the Avis office, called Topacio. It may still be there.
If you just want a 50cc I believe you just have to attend a course of a few hours and they give you the licence. About 6 or 7 years ago I knew an English lad who did it and he didn't speak any Spanish, and the people giving the course said it didn't matter. He just had to attend!!! Not sure if this is still the case though. _________________ Who am I? Find out more here: http://www.myspacetenerife.com/index.php?page=view_profile&id=17

Why not pop into the moped places, there's also one in Las Chafiras, and ask them what the situation is? They should know. Then you can tell us. _________________ .
