Post Post subject: Job hunting! Reply with quote

Hello Very Happy

I am looking for work now, as the job i was in turned out to be only temporary (nice if they would have told me in the first place Sad ) and so as you can imagine, i have been left unexpectedly with nothing to do and no money coming in! I am a very hard worker no matter what i do, i have experience in lots of different jobs such as waitressing, kitchen help, repping, hotel entertainer, and i am very good on the computer. I read, write and speak very good Spanish, I would really like to work in Los Cristianos so i don't have to travel or go too far, and i will work part time or full time.
I would love to try something new but it seems that you can only apply if you have experience, but how do you gain experience if no-one will give you a job? I have always wondered about that Confused Laughing
So if anyone has any ideas or knows of any vacancies anywhere, please let me know as i am fretting over how i can pay my bills and my rent next month!!! Think

Hiya! I´m feeling the same as you but I have silly hours to work around so not any job that pops up on Oasisfm will fit me.
Same with you and the location, I just enquired about Harleys and Roys Pizza but I know the hours wont be right for me, worth a try though!
Good Luck with the hunting, I´ll keep my ears open!
Emma

Have you got a recent CV on your computer? Email it to different estate agencies, hotels, English newspapers/magazines etc as, if you have some work experience and speak and write decent Spanish I am positive you will find work quickly. There are some jobs on the Oasis fm Job Vacancies sticky and also in local papers (EL Baul, El Día, Canarian Weekly etc).

I will make this day a happy one for I alone can determine what kind of day it will be.
