Hiya, for those of you who don´t know. I recently gave up my high erning office job for a better, more fun filled life!
What was I thinking! haha!
I´m going to be working part-time, well less than that, doing what I love, teaching polercise for Stafania. Only 10 hours a week!
So, I´m thinking, oops what do I do now, I need to ern money, but I have funny hours to work around.
I´m a wizz kid on the computer but don´t want to be stuck behind a desk for 40 hours a week like I was before. I know it´s winter and a silly silly time to pack in my job but I had to do it, I needed a new start for 2008 but being spontanious, not like me at all, went ahead and done it anyway.
Big Ooops!
I´ve been checking Oasis fm every day but nothing´s going to fit around my hours at the gym, oh what to do!
I think what I´m trying to say is, if anyone knows or hears of anyone in need of staff with felxible working hours then please give me a shout. I know something will come along (hopefully soon) but it makes me feel better posting this on here, makes me feel like I´m trying that little bit harder, plus my boyfriend wont shout at me for being a bum and not looking for work, HAHA!

do you teach groups at the gym? because if you do could you not do private teaching for a bit more money?

Yep, I´m doing both, I´ve been given the Open classes (anyone can turn up) and Stefi told me that if I get people wanting private classes I can book them in, you do get more money but I don´t have any new girls yet that are interested. hummmmm xxx

HI Emma,

Well done for being spontanious and aiming to start your new life in a new year, I hope things work out for you and hopefully this time next year you'll be thinking back to the decision you have made for this year. and all going well you'll see it was the right choice.

Get some posters up where you can advertising your services, get cards etc made up and leave them where you feel you may get anyone showing an interest, leaving them at receptions in hotels etc you never know, maybe people will be interested in a few lessons while on holiday.

You'll see loads of posts on here about people who have started a new life in Tenerife, some good some not so good. keep plodding away and hopefully things will work out for you.

Hotel receptions will only dump your cards. They only display brochures from companies that give a healthy commission on anything booked through them.

Just an idea Rob cause where I stay when Im over at reception they have a kinda desk with all sorts of cards, fliers etc on it everything from Chinese menus to cards for taxi companies, I have to admit I have in the past picked up some information from there. They also have the usual info on water park, parrot park, bus timetables, not that THEY mean much in Tenerife & even pizza delivery companies etc


Emma, also posting cards etc under the apartment doors of hotels etc mind you I guess you'd need to get permission but again where I usually stay when I am over ( Tropical Park in Callao salvaje ) they must allow this there cause Iv had some things posted under my apartment door.
