The Canary Island Giant Fennel (Ferula linkii) or Cañaheja, as it is known in Spanish is a very tall and attractive herb that flowers in spring. It has feathery leaves like the Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) and yellow flower heads.
Canary Island Giant Fennel is a medicinal herb that can be taken as a leaf tea, which is good for the digestion and wind. It is also a treatment for catarrh and coughs.
