ahhhh I'm wrong I was saying I lived in Burnley....
Reading it again I should have known I had misinterpreted it with it ending in today as that would not have NOT made sense...lol
There is now Sun in Burnley at all, it has rained all day! _________________ www.secretgardenholistics.com

I can't keep up with the double negatives in English, let alone Spanish
Lea, thanks for answering anyway, at least you took the time to try, well done.
Did you notice Rob's use of the first person singular 'estoy' (from the verb estar) instead of first person singular from the verb 'ser' (soy) which indicates a temporary rather than a permenant state??
Soy Ingles................I am English (always will be)
Estoy enfermo..........I am ill (but won't always be)
My Spanish is a long way away from being anything useful (ask Mary's Daughter) but hey....I enjoy trying and learning _________________

Well done to you both for trying. We all make plenty of mistakes especially when starting to learn. Keep up the good work.
@Andy - ¿No lo sabes todavía? El sol no existe en inglaterra!!!
@Leanne - I would just say "Vivo en Burnley" for "I live in Burnley.

I will make this day a happy one for I alone can determine what kind of day it will be. |

Its easy to make mistakes when starting out, so don't get disheartened. In any event, the locals are very forgiving. I think they're usually just so shocked that a Brit is trying to speak Spanish that they forget to be offended when the grammar is wrong!
But as they say, practice makes perfect. _________________ Legal Solutions both in Tenerife and in England or Wales? Tenerife Solicitors can assist from our offices in San Eugenio, Tenerife and in Kent, U.K. Visit www tenerifesolicitors com |
