 Post subject: Tajinastes and bees |

Bees, which are dying out in many countries are still doing OK here, and one flower they love is the Tajinaste blanco (Echium simplex). This flower is now exceedingly rare in the wild in Tenerife but fortunately is still surviving because it is being planted in gardens and parks.
Here are some on a roundabout in El Tanque and here is a bee gathering nectar.
