Post subject: buildings insurance...can you recommend? |

hi again! im having few problems with my buildings insurance there,it came automatically when i got my mortgage there...but now i have a problem it is costing a fortune in calls and getting no-where!so am thinking of changing...can anyone recommend somewhere...?thanks in advance!!  |

beware..... many mortgage companies ie banks give you a better mortgage rate if you insure with them. if you move your mortgage could increase. Wicked I know but..... If it's with your bank ring them and complain. _________________ .

Hi Bunny
I use Intasure. For my 1 bed apartment they charge £65 for £50000 of building cover, £32.50 for £10000 of contents and £25 for accidental damage by tenants. This includes £1000 of emergency travel cover and £5000000 of liability cover, and the excess is £150 or £250 if damaged by a tenant.
