 Post subject: Día de Canarias - 30th May |

Tomorrow, 30th May, is the Canaries day. If you are out and about you may see people wearing the traditional costume and celebrating.
Most schools today have a celebration whereby all the children dress up and do a show/dancing however many this year have cancelled the celebration due to strikes regarding pay! What a shame. I know someone whose grandparents have come over from Holland especially to see the show that his school normally does and there isn't anything for them to see. Others have brought the costume and had not been told it was cancelled!
