Hi, im currently workin for thomas cook over in the uk in retail and am moving over to tenerife asap and would really like to be able to work in the airport as its something ive always wanted to do!
Im 21 and have worked for thomas cook for 4 and a half years and have always achieved my targets.
If anyone knows of any jobs going in the airport or in retail please let me know as im comin over next week to have a look around.

hi i can speak english, french and spanish. i cant speak it fluently but i pick it up quick. Smile

Why not speak to someone at Thomas Cook and find out who you need to contact to get transferred to Tenerife? If you have worked for them for a while, you are ahead of others who have not.

Otherwise try sending your CV to Airtours at the airport, though it's hard to get work over here if you don't already live here.

yeah i will do thanks, we are planning on moving there on the 1st july as we have both got to do notice at work etc. i will talk to them at the airport and see if there are any vacancies. thanks

Having the languages will also be an advantage. You have plenty of time when you are here to practice Spanish and get fluent!

What is it you want to do at the airport? I worked for TUI about 9 years ago as a transfer rep. A couple of friends did the same for Airtours but got all the night flights!

yeah im gonna ask at the airport i hope thomas cook might be able to offer me something there if not ill ask other operators. i would hope to work actually in the airport rather than being a transfer rep to be honest but ill see what i can get i come over on sunday. thanks

With TUI I was based at the airport and only actually got on a bus to go home!

There are lots of different jobs at the airport. Let us know how you get on.
