 Post subject: Italia in Bocca, San Marcos - venue for forum meet up north? |

I went to see a place there and it was ideal for me. I get 2 bedrooms and 3 beds, living room, kitchen, bathroom and large balcony and it's fully furnished and part of a quiet block called Edificio Lourdes. My cats are welcome and could go out over the balcony and there's a phone line although it needs connecting. Bus stop outside and on the road between Playa San Marcos and Icod centre. And all for 320 Euros per month. I am hoping to get the contract and keys next week.

Sorry I didn't look at the whole list. But I found this info when typed in telephone number I found on net for Parish Museum of Sacred art in San Marcos.

Find some other telephone numbers in the area and check on there. |

Jenny, I just checked if the number for Supermercado Lourdes on the floor above me is OK and it is!
Now all I need is a charger for the mobile phone I've been given and I can apply! Telefonica won't accept applications without a mobile number!

This message is so late, but I have only just joined this forum. I hope you are enjoying Edf Lourdes, it is a great block and the supermarket has most things that you will need. My parents own an apartment in the block aswell.

San Marcos is the beautiful small beach down below Icod, right?
That Italian restaurant by the beach ain't half bad either! Mmmm

Yes, that's it just down from Icod and Italia in Bocca is one of my favourite eating places - in fact I was there last night. I think it would be a brilliant place for the first forum meet in the north! |

I wonder if we could organise this and get some of the members of the forum from the south to come up for the day? It would have to be afternoon and early evening though because the last bus down south to Las Americas leaves Icod around 8pm. |

Those times are better for those of us with kids anyway (if they'll be allowed to come!!) I'm up for it. How about at Emily and Fernando's? They do food there, don't they?
