 Post subject: moving to tenerife in july |

hello,
just found this site today. i am 21 from scotland and im moving over to tenerife in july. i have already found a job and accomodation but i will be moving over on my own and dont know anyone. i will be in los cristianos so if anyone would like to meet for a drink or show me around it would be much appreciated  a bit nervous of moving abroad on my own and dont like to be lonely lol.

Be careful who you agree to meet from the internet (even Rob  ). I'm sure you will make friends at work, or otherwise come along to a forum meet where there will be a gang of us.
You are lucky to have found work before you get here. What will you be doing?

im going to be working for resort properties world, anyone heard anything about them? ive researched them on the internet and not found anything bad, cant be too careful lol. |

Thought it might be as I don't know of any other places that will employ someone who isn't yet here.

I wish I was moving to tenerife in July too...... (Me and Lea )
Good luck but I would suggest you find a proper job as soon as you get there though!!!

Sales Professional? He he, the timeshare job titles just get better and better!
And I wouldn't worry about folk that you meet on the internet, they're a damn sight better than the people you're going to encounter down at Veronicas.
BTW Jenny, are you aware that some 15% of people over 16 in the UK either met or got better acquainted with their current partners via the internet?

No I wasn't aware of that. My hubbie's sister met her bloke on MSN but he was one of my hubbie's friends so I guess that was different! I also believe that our Stripps met Neil in the same way.
All I am saying is that Amanda should be careful. It's the "mother" in me!!
