Hi.....My husband is a IDCS....and at present works for about 5 different dive centers. BUT Rob is right, you have to really live here and know the sites...the centers do not want to be training you on dives sites at the busy times.
If you already know sites..you may get a look in, but still most centers look for permanent resident diver..OR they may use you for pick ups or bottle fills and give you dives as you go aong to learn sites..
some regular divers on the island have come back as DMs to work for the summers...they tend to get work as they have dived the sites many times before.
